How the calculator works
Choose what you are valuing first, because an old empty channel and an operating channel are priced in different ways.
- Empty old channel: the value is the published price of an empty channel from that creation year. There is no audience income to add.
- Channel with an audience: the value comes from the income the audience can earn: monthly ad income (views ÷ 1,000 × price per 1,000 views × ads per month) plus any other monthly profit you can prove, multiplied by the months of income you assume a buyer pays for. It is shown as a range. The creation year is shown separately as a floor, not added on top, so age is not counted twice.

What really moves a channel's value
- Real views and engagement, not subscriber count. See how to check if subscribers are real.
- Niche and audience country: finance, crypto and US/EU audiences usually earn more per view than general entertainment.
- Proof: statistics a buyer can verify live, ad history and income records.
- Creation year: older empty channels cost more because fewer remain; it matters most when there is no audience.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a Telegram channel worth?
It depends mostly on real post views, the niche and audience country, and the ad income those views can earn. For an empty channel without an audience, the creation year sets the price instead; published prices for empty old channels run from $10 to $55.
Why does the calculator use views instead of subscribers?
Advertisers pay for people who see a post. Subscriber counts can include inactive or added accounts, so views are the more honest measure.
What CPM should I enter?
Use the price per 1,000 views you actually charge or are offered for an ad post in your niche. If you do not know, try a low and a high value to see the range; it varies widely by niche and country.
How many months of income do buyers pay for?
There is no fixed rule; it depends on how stable the audience is and how much a buyer can verify. The calculator lets you set it, so you can compare scenarios.
Is this an offer to buy my channel?
No. The result is an educational estimate, not a purchase offer. SocialStore does buy some old channels and groups for its catalog; to have yours reviewed, send the details on the sell page and you get a separate offer if it fits.
