Frequently asked questions
Why is the Transfer Ownership button missing?
Telegram shows it only to the owner, and only on the rights screen of an admin who has every right turned on, including Add New Admins.
Does changing the password restart the wait?
It can. Telegram checks how recently the password was set, so do not change it before a transfer.
Can I use another device to avoid the 24 hours?
Yes. Any device that has been logged in for more than 24 hours can make the transfer.
Can a transfer be undone?
No. After the transfer the new owner has full control, and only they can transfer it back.
Is anything sent to your website?
No. This checker runs in your browser.
